The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining jacketing extrusion and CCW Armor equipment while ensuring products consistently meet customer and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate jacketing extrusion and CCW Armor equipment in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and production standards.
• Follow setup and operating instructions for various product types while meeting individual customer specifications and work-order requirements.
• Read and accurately interpret work-order packets, including packets associated with rejected product, to determine customer requirements and required processing instructions.
• Identify, document, and communicate process deviations and perform approved in-process repairs to CCW Armor and jacketed products.
• Reprocess nonconforming product according to established procedures and quality requirements.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down the jet printer used in the jacketing extrusion process.
• Properly identify, handle, and document short footage produced during jacketing extrusion operations.
• Follow established procedures for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and assist in implementing corrective measures when required.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure finished products meet established customer, quality, and manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor the shelf life of marking inks and thinners and follow procedures for proper identification, storage, and handling.
• Follow established procedures for calibration, operation, and maintenance of Target System optical measuring equipment.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain tooling and equipment associated with the jacketing line to support safe, reliable, and efficient production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all applicable safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, process deviations, and other production problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and quality objectives.
