We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures on a contract basis. This position requires expertise in perioperative nursing and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience working as an RN in the Operating Room setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of perioperative protocols and best practices
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, competent nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Scrub or circulate to assist surgical teams as assigned
• Monitor patient status and vital signs intraoperatively
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient status
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and hospital protocols
• Provide clear updates and compassionate support to patients and families
