About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data, AI, and Innovation to take ownership of its data, AI, and innovation agenda and lead a large, multidisciplinary team. The primary focus of this role is on client advisory, particularly in the area of technology-led analytics that drive business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a practice that advises clients on AI products, helps them develop their own data and AI strategies, and turns these interactions into new, scalable data and AI products. This is a combined commercial, product, and technical leadership position that requires a strong background in data, analytics, and AI, with a proven track record of turning analytics into commercial outcomes and scaling data/AI products across a client base. Key responsibilities for the Head of Data, AI, and Innovation at the company include setting the agenda for frontier data and AI work, advancing machine learning and predictive analytics, and championing data quality, governance, and security. The role also involves defining and owning the data, AI, and innovation strategy, and representing the function to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have at least 12-15 years' experience in data, analytics, and AI, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role, and a strong technical background in data architecture, ML algorithms, and applied AI. Experience in client-facing roles, particularly in the context of advisory engagements, and a background in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services is preferred. The Head of Data, AI, and Innovation will also be responsible for leading, hiring, and mentoring a large team, and must be adept at managing both technical and product-focused staff.
