Evening Line Cook (PM Shift)
We're Huckleberry's Natural Market your local neighborhood grocery store. Ever since we first opened our doors in the heart of Spokane, Washington, we've been a gathering place for those who appreciate sharing delicious food with others. We're all about fostering a local community of food enthusiasts - individuals who get a kick out of exploring the corners of our store, finding new foods to add to their pantry. We stock the freshest ingredients alongside a wide selection of groceries that cater to every taste and preference. But it doesn't stop at our shelves - we're here to curate memorable shopping experiences for each person that walks through our doors. Our secret ingredient? Our incredible team who encourage each customer to be part of these experiences, immersing themselves in the world of food.
The Opportunity:
At Huckleberry's Natural Market, the bistro isn't just a place to pick up lunch—it's a culinary adventure waiting to happen. As a Bistro Associate, you'll be the curator of delectable delights, crafting customized sandwiches, salads, and more with an artistic touch, serving up scrumptious creations that make every meal memorable. Your attention to detail and passion for quality will ensure that our customers enjoy a deli experience that's second to none.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
- Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu.
- Cooking menu items with the support of other team members.
- Update displays, cases and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
- Ensure work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment and floors, and removing trash.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
- Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A genuine dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.
- Facilitate clear, concise, and positive interactions with others.
