Aftercare Assistant

Aftercare Program Supervisor

Supervise children throughout the Aftercare program.

Create a warm, fun, and caring atmosphere for students.

Assist with age-appropriate activities, games, and play.

Maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Serve as a positive role model for students.

Communicate with parents during daily pick-up.

Maintain open communication with Aftercare staff and school personnel.

Keep program spaces neat and orderly.

Respond proactively to issues or concerns as they arise.

Report concerns involving students, staff, or the program to the supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years old or have a valid work permit.

Must be willing to become CPR certified.

Previous experience teaching or working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.

Basic knowledge and understanding of school-aged children.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Dependable, courteous, and professional.

This is a part-time position.

Monday–Thursday: 3:00–6:00 p.m. Friday: 3:00–5:00 p.m.

$18.75–$24.50 per hour.
