General Position Summary Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance. Offer feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Company Dress Code Policy. Control Expenses Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper store coverage and comply with wage-control guidelines. Follow all policies to accurately manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Maintain proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and state/federal laws. Open and close the store as required following the Operations P&P Manual procedures. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to set sales and task goals, and maintain regular follow‑up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Encourage store associates’ compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of company inventory, funds, and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed. Communicate with employees at all company levels. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience. Established ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear professional verbal communication. Ability to operate a computer and use related software programs. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Mangers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Reports To Store Manager For California-based roles: Annual pay ranges may fall between $33,280 - $68,640. You may also be offered a bonus, and other benefits.
