We specialize in packaging and distributing medications to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We are professional, fast-paced, and rewarding. We offer a relaxed environment with the opportunity to grow!Regular operating hours Monday-Friday 8:00 am-8:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. This position requires an every third weekend rotation.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team and provide essential support to our long-term care pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for processing and filling prescriptions and other healthcare products for residents under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role involves providing specialized support in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy settings, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, patient service, and adherence to safety protocols.ResponsibilitiesAssist with medication intake by verifying prescription information and accurately entering new orders into the pharmacy system. This includes reading, interpreting, and transcribing prescriptions with a high level of accuracy to ensure safe and efficient processing.Communicate effectively with nurses and providers by answering incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and routing information appropriately.
