Position Overview Job Title: Porter Location: Cascata Golf Club, Boulder City, NV 89005 Shift: Any Essential Functions Assist with the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet service needs. Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality food service. Ensure all prep work meets established quality, taste, and presentation standards. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using approved procedures. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all food service areas, including kitchens, dishwashing stations, restaurants, and banquet areas. Assist with cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment, and other assigned work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Dispose of trash, recycling, and compost according to facility guidelines and applicable sanitation procedures. Requirements Up-to-date Clark County health card. Minimum 1+ year(s) of experience as a line cook or prep cook. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen environment (preferred but not required). Experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, golf club, or banquet facility is highly preferred. Work Environment This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level can be loud, and the employee may be exposed to hazards including cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.
