By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SharePoint Developer and Tier 1, 2, and 3 Support to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).Position Information:Utilizes industry best practices for all aspects of managing and maintaining the environment and SP and Project Server architecture and be proficient with all of the features of current and future versions of SP and Project Server.Develops solutions including but not limited to forms, lists, look up tables and libraries to improve customer efficiency and effectiveness. The use of content management/records management and tools may be required.Plans and supports migration to Microsoft O365 SharePoint and Project Server Online and adjust service delivery practices to support a hybrid services delivery or completely online environment.Provides front-end development resulting in high-end visual and functional sites.SharePoint Senior Technical and Task Team Lead Utilizes industry best practices for all aspects of managing and maintaining the environment and SP and Project Server architecture and is proficient with all of the features of current and future versions of SP, Project Server, and OneDrive.Develops solutions to customer requests to improve customer efficiency and effectiveness. The use of content management/records management and tools may be required.Ensures the teams follow all DOJ processes and complete deliverables in a timely manner.Provides support for requirements, design, planning, and integration type activities within the scope of the task order but with special skills for SP front-end development that DOJ is planning to implement.Monitors all stages of projects to ensure they are timely delivery of high-quality solutions to the customer.Facilitates and coordinates responses to data calls and supports briefings to senior leadership.Ensures implementation of and compliance with ISO 2000General ExperienceFamiliar with standard software development concepts, practices, and procedures.Experience supporting the full life-cycle of applications - from architecting to design, development, release, and O&M supportDemonstrated track record of identifying and implementing practices and tools that improve development performance, collaboration and software qualityExcellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate (oral, written, and active listening) to all levels of the business.Demonstrated experience working in environments that have multiple platforms, languages, and tools interconnected to one anotherExperience defining and implementing software standardsFamiliarity with DevOps in a.Net environmentFamiliarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) techniquesHands on experience in web technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Basic Skills:Experience leading software development teamsRequires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 8+ years of SharePoint and.Net development experienceExperience with HTML/JavaScript JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, and/or ExtJS with AJAXExperience with SharePoint, and the SharePoint object and programming modelExperience working on Agile projects using Scrum or Kanban methodologiesThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
