Equity Research Senior Associate- Global Pharmaceuticals & Large Cap Biotechnology

Description Wolfe Research is seeking a Biopharmaceuticals Equity Research Senior Associate or Junior Vice President to join its team in New York City. The role focuses on equity research covering Global Pharmaceuticals and Large Cap Biotechnology. Responsibilities & Requirements Minimum 3 years experience and familiarity with the biopharmaceutical sector, acquired through sales & marketing, business development, R&D, or consulting roles. Strong understanding of financial concepts including 3‑statement modeling, forecasting and valuation techniques. Creative thinker with problem‑solving skills; ability to work with large data sets in Excel/Access and source independent information. Excellent communication and writing skills; capable of generating ideas and communicating effectively under tight deadlines. Technical skills: Bloomberg or FactSet, Excel (macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting). Capacity for 10+ hour days and occasional weekend work. Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 licensure preferred, or expected to be completed within 12 months. Education BA/BS in a scientific area relevant to biopharmaceuticals. Minimum GPA 3.5. MBA, CPA, PharmD or PhD in a relevant scientific area is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary range of $115,000‑$175,000 with an annual discretionary incentive bonus and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, accident, disability insurance, paid time off, vacation, sick leave, holidays and paid parental leave.
