Job Description
Computed Tomography Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days 12 shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM). Must be available for weekends.

Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist will produce computerized tomography images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician, adhering to established practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans as per physician orders.
• Ensure quality control and proper functionality of CT equipment.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Document imaging and patient information accurately.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff and other departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist.
• Previous experience in Computed Tomography preferred.
• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology and training in Computerized Assisted Tomography required.
• New Jersey DEP license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification required or must be attained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• IV certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
