Exciting Opportunity for a Mammography Tech!

- Position Type: 1st Timer - Mammography Tech
- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 17:30)
- Schedule: Mon/Tues & Thurs/Fri
- Hours: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Job - 0 Hours NBO vs. Standard 40 NBO
- Biopsy Experience: Preferred but not required
- Equipment: Must be familiar with Hologic equipment
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Work Environment: Short Term Acute Care Facility with 418 Staffed Beds
- Scrub Color: Any Color; OR/L&D: Provided; Micro Bio Tech: Business Appropriate Street Clothes (Lab Coat Provided)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: No Fee

Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year required
- Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Oregon license, Mammography-ARRT
- Skills:
- 3-D Mammography
- Diagnostic Mammograms
- Digital Mammography
- Needle Localizations
- Stereotactic Biopsy
- Radiation Safety
- Outpatient Procedures
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during the compliance process

Additional Information:
- Orientation Hours: 40
- Special Procedures: Breast biopsies, localizations, savvy scout
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility.

Communication Devices: If required, the client agrees to supply providers with communication devices needed for performing assigned duties at no cost.
