Collaboration, innovation, and integrity define our culture — empowering engineers to create impactful solutions that advance national security objectives.Responsibilities:Develop, write, and edit technical content for proposals.Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical publications in accordance with applicable Government standards.Produce and update manuals, documentation, and other support materials.Work directly with engineers, program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and government representatives to gather and validate technical data.Translate complex engineering and system information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.Perform updates and revisions to legacy documents.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, publishing standards, and configuration management processes.Support QA/QC reviews and participate in document validation/verification efforts.Manage document lifecycle, version control, and timely delivery of contract data requirements (CDRLs).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience developing technical publications.Working knowledge of publication standards, Jira, Confluence, and document version trackingProven ability to produce system maintenance manuals, software operator manuals, or similar defense-related technical documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical publishing tools.Strong understanding of document control, versioning, and configuration management processes.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Experience writing for proposals and with the Shipley Proposal method.Experience supporting U.S. Air Force MASINT analytical tool suites or similar platforms.Advanced experience with DEW systems, including publishing, validation, and troubleshooting IETMs.Strong working knowledge of XML schemas, tagging, and data module structures used in Air Force technical manuals.Experience supporting MIL-STD compliant deliverables through full lifecycle development and updates.Familiarity with RF MASINT or Laser data, provisioning, and logistics product development.Experience participating in or leading Validation and Verification (V&V) events with government customers.NASK Incorporated considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and responsibilities, work experience, education, training, certifications, geographic location, and market data.
