- Case Mix: Pediatric ophthalmology, ROP screening and treatment
- Rounding: Included
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- ROP screening and treatment (laser therapy)
- Pediatric ophthalmology examinations
- Board: Board Certified/Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Licenses: Active Florida medical license
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Experience: Residency trained in Ophthalmology; Pediatric ophthalmology experience
- Other Qualifications: Updated CV, Lee Health Signed Attestation
- Provide inpatient pediatric ophthalmology coverage, including NICU rounding for ROP screening and treatment.
- Staff ambulatory pediatric ophthalmology clinic (8-hour shifts on Tuesdays, PRN Wednesdays as needed).
- Perform ROP treatments, such as laser therapy, and manage follow-up care.
- Cover physician vacations for both inpatient and outpatient pediatric ophthalmology services.
- Complete orientation requirements, hand hygiene demonstration, and employee health clearance prior to first shift.
