Commercial Painter - KC Metro

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint and finishes to various surfaces in commercial and residential settings. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using different techniques, and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality results. This role requires travel to different job sites around the KC Metro area.

There is a commercial painting role in KCK paying $23-25/hr where you would be going to the same place consistently for work.

Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, scrape, and prime surfaces prior to painting.
• Paint Application: Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply paint, varnish, or finishes.
• Masking & Cleanup: Mask off areas, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure job sites are left in good condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work with crew members on painting and general building tasks while following safety protocols.
• Equipment Care: Maintain tools and report any repair needs.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in painting, including commercial painting and paint preparation.
• Proficiency in using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
• Ability to paint without tape and own necessary tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in residential and industrial painting.
• Proficiency with spray guns and sanding techniques.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lees Summit, MO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
