Support Specialist, Day Center

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

This position is on-site in Grand Junction, CO

The Support Specialist for the day center will greet and check in participants upon arrival, assuring all are welcome and receive any assistance needed. This role will ensure incoming phone calls will be answered in a manner to promote welcoming and competent customer service experience. The Support Specialist provides administrative and practical support to the PACE Day Center staff and operations using efficient and effective scheduling and organizational skills.

What is PACE?

PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year administrative support, healthcare, or related experience required.
• Valid Colorado driver's license, adequate automobile insurance, and unlimited access to reliable transportation maintained throughout employment.

• Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
• Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and personalities.
• Attention to detail; accuracy in all work.
• Proficient with EMR, and Microsoft office products.
• Ability to accurately capture meeting notes.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while consistently demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and HopeWest's mission and values.
