The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and a strong ability to work within a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring and managing a variety of complex medical conditions.\n Titrate drips and manage medications as per protocols.\n Interpret and analyze telemetry strips; ensure accurate documentation of patient status.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.\n Assist with equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP as needed.\n Unit Information\n \n Number of Beds: 4\n Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 depending on acuity\n Common Patient Diagnoses: DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac issues, medical detox, and trauma patients.\n Qualifications\n \n Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.\n Experience with trauma patient care is preferred; TNCC/TCAR certification is a plus.\n Ability to demonstrate coachability and motivation in a high-pressure environment.\n Team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.\n Shift Requirements\n \n Available for 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n Willingness to float to Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department for one-on-one patient care if required.\n Orientation\n \n Comprehensive orientation program consisting of 3 unit-specific shifts.\n Additional Information\n Successful candidates will show a commitment to patient safety and an ability to address unsafe situations proactively.
