Occupational Therapist (OT) Behavioral Health Fairfax, VA, United States Job Description Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Behavioral Health team. This role will be Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with 2 weekend days per month, 1 minor and 1 major holiday. Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Responsibilities Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts while completing all administrative tasks and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit. Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols while performing re‑evaluations, according to department guidelines, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to patients' diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Licensure: Occupational Therapist Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications 2 years of Occupation Therapist (OT) experience Experience as an OT in the hospital setting Experience in behavioral health Benefits Committed to Team Member Health: offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.
