Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Contract)

Location: California 95437
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36 hours per week

• Provide coordinated nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)

• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions, including post-operative and medical cases

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve patient outcomes

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure safe, effective care delivery

• Supervise and delegate tasks to assigned nursing and support staff as appropriate

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning to support continuity of care

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital standards

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Acute care or Med/Surg experience preferred

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (Required)

• BLS certification (Required)

• ACLS certification (Required)

• Must comply with facility vaccination and health requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
