We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients, staff, and equipment throughout our facility. Responsibilities Safely operate a vehicle to transport patients to and from appointments. Maintain accurate records of transportation, gas usage and resident appointment records. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, adhering to infection control guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to resolve transportation-related issues and concerns. Prioritize patient safety and well-being, providing exceptional customer service to all individuals being transported. Drive van as needed. Ensure all transportation requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, interacting with patients, staff, and visitors. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents to management. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in a related field an asset. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) as required. Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
