Windows Systems AdministratorSupport Naval Research Laboratory Space Systems Development Division (SSDD). The primary objective of the SSDD is to develop command, control, communications, computers, computers, computers, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) hardware and software solutions to space, airborne, and ground applications. We are seeking a mid-level Windows Systems Administrator with 5–10 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering modern Windows Server and Windows endpoint platforms, enforcing DoD security standards, and supporting mission-critical systems in regulated or classified networks.Required Experience:5–10 years of Windows Systems Administration experienceExperience supporting DoD or Federal IT environmentsStrong knowledge of Windows Server 2016+ and Windows 11Hands-on experience with DISA STIGs and SCAP toolsFamiliarity with RMF and NIST 800-53Experience working in controlled or classified environmentsSkills Required:Security+ CE (DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant)Microsoft Windows certifications or equivalent experienceRMF or CISSP preferredKey responsibilities:Administer Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environmentsSupport Windows 11 Enterprise endpointsManage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and trustsImplement and remediate DISA STIGsConduct SCAP scans and vulnerability remediationSupport RMF activities and POA&M remediationPerform system patching, monitoring, and incident responseSupport backup, restore, and disaster recovery operationsParticipate in change management and CCB processesMaintain system documentation and accreditation artifactsThe projected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
