Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Pomona, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform vaginal examinations and support patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Provide newborn care and support immediately following delivery
• Manage patients across a range of birth volumes, from fewer than 100 to more than 300 births
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and charting
• Adhere to facility dress code and compliance standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• NRP Advanced certification required (must include all 11 components)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Weekend availability required: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with vaginal examinations and newborn care
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or trauma center environment
