Position: Elementary School Principal (Kindergarten - Grade 5) Location: Pittston-Randolph Consolidated School Date Position Available: July 1, 2026 Qualifications: Appropriate State of Maine Certification and Current CHRC Authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education Description: Nestled in the heart of Maine, Gardiner offers a blend of history, convenience, and a wide variety of activities, from arts and entertainment to scenic recreational trails and a waterfront park along the tidal Kennebec River. MSAD 11 consists of 1 high school, 1 middle school, and 4 elementary schools, serving the towns of Gardiner, West Gardiner, Pittston, and Randolph. Pittston-Randolph Consolidated School, located in Pittston, currently serves approximately 183 students in grades Kindergarten to Grade 5. MSAD 11 seeks an inspiring and compassionate principal who excels in instructional leadership and fosters an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. The ideal candidate will skillfully balance the academic and social needs of young learners while empowering and guiding a dedicated team of educators. With strong organizational expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to excellence, the successful candidate will cultivate a positive and productive school culture that ensures success for every student. Preference will be considered for candidates with experience in special education and specialized programming (autism, behavior) who also advocate for inclusive learning.
