Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performanceAirport Analysis and Takeoff & Landing Performance:- Assist with GIS (Geographical Information System) analysis for airports worldwide as well as aircraft departure procedures where terrain and/or aircraft noise pose operational limitations- Monitor daily airports and runway characteristics changesEnroute Performance:- Review flights with seating capacity restrictions due to high temperatures, enroute winds, etc.- Develop and engineer operational datasets for payload performance monitoring- Monitor aircraft over/under fuel burn performanceWeight and Balance:- Monitor and update aircraft weight ledgers as mods/repairs are embodiedWhat you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)· Seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and actively enrolled in school during the program duration · Strong analytic, technical writing, and verbal communications skills required.· MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) skills required. SQL, Python and/or VBA skills a plus.· Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. · Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. · Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. · Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)(Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical strongly preferred). Private pilot's license a plus.Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the schedule below:· Spring 2027 - 1st rotation· Fall 2027 - 2nd rotation· Summer 2028 - 3rd rotation< Go back
