Join the Stevens Industries team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably.This is a hands-on, high-impact position where no two days are the same. You'll troubleshoot equipment, work with advanced controls and automation, and partner with production and engineering teams to solve problems and improve our operations.WHAT YOU'LL DORespond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesTroubleshoot PLCs, control circuits, sensors, and industrial automation systemsInstall, modify, and maintain electrical equipment, PLCs, instrumentation, and AC/DC variable speed drivesRepair and rebuild gearboxes, motors, cylinders, and mechanical systemsWork with hydraulics, pneumatics, relay logic, and electrical schematicsSupport the design, installation, and improvement of manufacturing equipment and systems.Collaborate with Engineering and Production to identify and resolve operational issues.Research parts, components, pricing, and lead times for maintenance projects and upgrades.Read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and specificationsRequirementsWHAT YOU BRINGStrong experience in industrial maintenance - electrical & mechanicalHands-on knowledge of PLC systems, troubleshooting, and programming logicExperience with AC/DC drives, control systems, sensors, and industrial wiringStrong mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine repairAbility to independently diagnose and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Experience reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and machine documentationBasic machining, fabrication, and tooling knowledge.Proficiency with basic computer systems and Windows-based tools.Strong math skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and metric conversionsAutoCAD or technical drafting experience is a plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.WHY STEVENS INDUSTRIES?At Stevens Industries, you're more than an employee-you're an owner.As a 100% Employee-Owned company, every team member has a direct stake in our success.
