Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (LDRP) – Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with nursing standards.
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care as needed.
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served in a Labor and Delivery setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN or MSN degree in Nursing.
• National professional nursing certification relevant to Labor and Delivery or a related clinical area.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting.
