Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist – Location: New Mexico, US Job Type: Night 4x10-Hour (20:30 - 07:00) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Inpatient Pharmacist to work at both Women’s Hospital and Westside Hospital on a rotating 7 on / 7 off schedule. This role is open to first-time travelers and provides an excellent opportunity to gain broad inpatient experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will be the sole overnight pharmacist (or part of a small team), handling order verification, clinical dosing, IV preparation, and code response across two facilities. Key Responsibilities: Verify and dispense medication orders for inpatient/acute care units at both hospital locations Prepare intravenous medications including: IV Piggyback IV Push medications Hyperalimentation (TPN) Mixers for TPN Perform sterile compounding using aseptic technique Provide clinical dosing for: Antibiotics Anticoagulation therapy (including Warfarin) Pharmacokinetic dosing Renal and geriatric dosing Pediatric dosing (as applicable) Monitor high-alert medications and therapeutic medication monitoring Use medication dispensing systems including: Carousel System Pyxis Collaborate with nursing and medical staff for safe, effective therapy Required Certifications (must have at time of start): BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) IV Certification (sterile compounding)
