Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports equipment reliability and plant operations across growing, packaging, and utility systems. Technicians may specialize in one area or work across all three. Pay is based on demonstrated skill level and experience, with a growth pathway structured through our internal Maintenance Skills Matrix (Levels 16).

What are we looking for?

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Use JD Edwards (JDE) CMMS to document work performed, labor hours, and materials used.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and escalate unresolved issues per the Downtime Escalation SOP.
• Attend and participate in daily huddles with shift leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and food safety guidelines.
• Perform job duties in hot, cold, or humid environments; walk and stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Areas:

• Farm Operations & Growing Areas
  • Maintain and troubleshoot climate control systems (HVAC, AHUs, environmental controls).
  • Repair and support composting systems, conveyors, tractors, and loaders.
  • Work in warm, humid environments as needed.
  • Experience in agricultural maintenance or farm equipment is a plus.
• Packaging & Food Production
  • Perform maintenance on high-speed packaging machines, conveyors, and labeling systems.
  • Support daily PMs, emergency repairs, and sanitation-focused maintenance.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and documentation standards.
  • Experience in food or packaging equipment is a plus.
• Utilities & Facility Infrastructure
  • Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, air handlers (AHUs), and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Troubleshoot utility failures and assist with facility infrastructure repairs.
  • Monitor system performance and support environmental compliance tasks.
  • Experience in industrial utilities or ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
