Description:

An Experienced Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential or commercial structures while ensuring quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. They perform both rough and finish carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim work, and installation of doors and windows. Experienced carpenters are skilled at reading blueprints, using various tools and equipment, solving problems on the job, and working independently or with a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

• Construct, renovate, and repair residential structures, including framing, drywall, LVP flooring, and siding.
• Install cabinets, doors, windows, and trim work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and building codes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential carpentry, with a focus on remodeling projects.
• Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop.
• Preferred: Relevant certifications or licenses in carpentry or remodeling trades.
• Preferred: Experience with and knowledge of current remodeling trends and materials.
