Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

Schedule: Shift: Days 7a-7p, Every 3rd Weekend, On-Call (must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in)

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 14 Weeks

Requirements:

• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
• BLS Certification (Required)
• NRP Certification (Required)
• STABLE Certification (Required)
• At least 3 years of experience working in Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, or Postpartum

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
• Establish collaborative plans of care based on assessment data, communicating with involved disciplines.
• Implement and evaluate care plans, modifying them as necessary based on patient status reassessment.
• Document all care and interventions according to established standards.
• Assess patient education readiness and implement individualized education plans.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and serve as a resource for new personnel if required.
