Location:

Livermore, CA. This is an on-site opportunity ideal for Bay Area construction professionals who enjoy staying close to the work, project teams, and field operations.

Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant project management and estimating experience in concrete, dirt/earthwork, and heavy civil construction. Strong preference will be given to candidates already located in the Bay Area or within a practical commute of Livermore.

Job Description

• Manage heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction and estimating through completion
• Prepare estimates, budgets, takeoffs, pricing, and project proposals
• Coordinate concrete, earthwork, dirt, foundation, and related civil scopes
• Partner with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, owners, and project stakeholders
• Track project costs, schedules, change orders, documentation, and overall performance
• Help identify project risks, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities
• Support bidding and preconstruction efforts for public and private projects
• Keep projects organized, moving forward, and aligned with quality and financial goals

Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly relevant heavy civil construction project management and estimating experience
• Hands-on experience with concrete, dirt/earthwork, and heavy civil projects
• Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination skills
• Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes, and construction documents
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working on-site in Livermore, CA
• Bay Area construction experience strongly preferred
