Requirements TBDMN LICENSE -OR- IMLC ONLYNeed ASAP start. Credentialing ~90 daysBoard Certs Required: Oncology and Hematology Will need to have privileges at United Hospital Abbott Northwestern and Mercy Hospital Patients per day: 20-25 Special procedures: Malignant and Benign oncology-Skills required: Medical Oncology- must have experience/comfort level inpatient malignant medical oncology patients and all ranges of hematology consults-Practice Setting: Hospital inpatient serviceSupport Staff: 1 APP M-F 1 on the weekend to round will help with which ever service is busiercall expectations- 8-10 hour days inpatient team overnight call done from home only medical oncology specific calls. a week at a time.Monday 8am to following Monday 8am flexiblerole expectations- lead medical oncology team supervising Advanced practice providers seeing inpatient all new consults schedule expectations:inpatient service- same day documentation is expectedoutpatient service- same day documentation is expected 3 days max.outpatient- coverage same for hematology and medical oncology8am-5pm schedule no call coverage with outpatient can be an option to assist with coverage. overnight call from homenurse triage service and hospitalist available number of calls minimal Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour 08:00 - 16:30
