Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 6 am to 6 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm openings Effingham Healthcare & Senior Living, the area's smallest skilled nursing facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Hours available are 6 am to 6 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families. Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained. Support patients with mobility needs including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols. Requirements Familiarity with EMR medical documentation systems is a plus. Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or hospice care is beneficial.
