Radiology Technician (PRN) - Mon-Fri Day Shift

Mercy Surgery Center has a PRN opening for a Radiology Technician . Mercy Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Job Summary-Key Duties: Perform the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following: IV and contrast administration, orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room Radiology, trauma Radiology, GI Radiology, outpatient and inpatient diagnostic Radiology, myelography and arthrography must. Perform Pain Blocks, Cholangiograms, CXR, Modified Specimen Mammogram. File and log in OR x-rays, keep Mini C-Arm logs UTD. Report system of radiology findings to physician. Monday-Friday work schedule NO call required NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours Hourly Range: $42 - $50 / hour, depending on experience Required Skills: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. 1+ years of previous experience required. Need experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AAART) Required CA Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Required BLS current and accredited by AHA Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. Must possess independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
