Verizon Employee Discount)Red Wing Shoe Safety Footwear ProgramPosition Summary:Effectively and efficiently coordinates completion of customer repairs thorough RO development from opening to closing, accurate assignment of work to technician and continually updating customer with preferred communication method (phone, text, email, or face-to-face if on premises).Essential Position Functions/Responsibilities:Schedules service work for efficient and productive work outcomesGreets customers in a timely friendly mannerDocuments accurate description of customer complaintsReferences vehicle history, warranty coverage, open campaigns, etc.Creates and communicates estimates cost and time to repair to customerObtains customer PO or documented approval and signatures from customerExplains repairs to customers on a timely basisAudits repair orders for completion (customer pay and warranty ROs) and closes RO within 2 days of last touch by a technicianUpdates customers on repair statusIssues PO’s to vendors and processes accounts payable invoicesResponds to telephone and in-person inquiries in a professional mannerHandles after hours breakdown callsMaintains professional appearanceKeeps work area cleanOther duties to meet business requirementsEducation/Essential Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDPractical knowledge and abilities to use computer and computer applicationsKey Attributes/Skills/Characteristics:Honest, dependable, organized & resourcefulMust be self-motivated and professionalMust have the desire to provide strong customer serviceMust be thorough and detail orientedIndependent thinkingPreferred Qualifications:Service writing/advising experienceCustomer service experienceBackground and experience working in a truck repair facility, and/or understanding of trucks and trailersValid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A/B) or the ability to acquire, including passing a DOT health certification test.Trade School diploma/certifications in automotive or truck maintenance and repairPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
