QA Tech- 3rd ShiftPlover WI - Plover, WI 54467**MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO WORK FOR MONOGRAM**Position Summary: Plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, material, and products on one production line by performing the following duties.Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Include the following.Record & document information necessary for trace-recall of finished productRecord all weights necessary to meet customer finished product specificationsRecord all HACCP checks with supporting documents to assure all critical control points are metMonitor Company Good Manufacturing PracticesGather all samples for Micro analysisSupport QA Supervisors in all areasCheck and record quality and weights according to specificationsMonitor wasteMonitor employees for accurate appearance defect removalPerform bake and fry testsCheck and record packaging and date code information based on specificationsPotato temperatures in the ovenWork indirectly with engineers on department improvementsWork with maintenance to ensure 97% uptimeResponsible for training other employeesResponsible for managing time and taking breaks without reliefDocument accurate paperwork and checks as requiredBe in conformance with customer specifications on incoming raw productWork with enthusiasm and sense of urgency dailyMaintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good manufacturing practicesMust wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as providedPerform other duties as required or directedQualifications: Education, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge: Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, round, compute averages and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.Physical environment/working condition: The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekend.
