We offer exciting career opportunities for talented and ambitious job seekers and encourage you to apply today.Primary Responsibilities:Preparation of various corporate financial statements, SEC filings, regulatory reporting, benefit plan and other management reportsConduct analysis of financial results and account balances to identify and effectively communicate key variance drivers to managementLead or assist on projects relating to the adoption of new accounting and regulatory guidance, automation of department processes and controls, and other areas that support executive management decision makingDevelop and apply an in-depth understanding of the Company's industry, business segments, and operations to support the Company's financial accounting and reporting processComplete special projects, as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 2+ years of experience in public accountingWorking knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExceptional analytical and organizational skillsDependability and attention to detail along with initiative, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in public accountingCPA certification (if CPA certification is not previously attained, the successful candidate should be willing to pursue)MBA or Masters in AccountingAbout National Fuel:National Fuel is a diversified energy company headquartered near Buffalo, NY. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors.
