Duties
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the required administrative tasks related to supervision including certification of timesheets, performance evaluation, regular communication, resolving issues.
- Supervises up to 30 intermittent and part-time pilots.
- Determines effective recruitment strategies, conducts interviews, and hires personnel.
- Incumbent is required to be experienced and competent in the operation of a helicopter and must be able to meet the Low-Level Flight Standards established by the program.
- Develops performance standards and conducts performance reviews of work for subordinates.
- As requested, incumbent conducts safety evaluations of personnel participating in aerial activities and on airplanes used in operations.
