Description Head Teller- Lakeway| Location: 1603 Ranch Rd 620 S, Lakeway, TX 78734 | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am-5:45PM and rotating Saturdays: 8:45am-12:15pm |Salary Range: $43,000-$47,500 |FLSA Status: Non-exempt About the Role Are you a natural leader with a passion for delivering personalized financial service? Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a Head Teller to oversee daily teller operations and provide frontline support at our Lakeway Branch . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys coaching others, ensures accurate and efficient transactions, and creates a welcoming experience for both members and team members. What You’ll Do Open and close the branch following security procedures Supervise teller staff, including training, scheduling, and performance support Provide accurate, courteous, and prompt service to members in person and by phone Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and loan processing Open and close accounts, IRAs, HSAs, Share Certificates, and ensure proper documentation Process payments, deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and fraud/dispute paperwork Balance cash drawer and maintain vault security Support mobile deposit and coin counter transactions Collaborate with branch management and attend required training sessions What You Bring High school diploma or GED At least one year of experience in a financial institution or teller role Strong leadership and communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to supervise and support a team effectively Familiarity with financial systems and office equipment Why You’ll Love Working Here: We’re more than a credit union — we’re a community.
