Overview Cath Lab Technologist (Per Diem Opportunity with call) – provides technical and imaging support during invasive and interventional cardiac procedures in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Provide technical and imaging support during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality care. Assist in maintaining sterile technique, radiation safety, and contrast administration. Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability. Qualifications Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, cardiovascular technology, or a related allied health field from an accredited program. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care specialty nursing. Skills: Strong knowledge of coronary anatomy, cardiac physiology, and hemodynamics; proficiency in sterile technique, radiation safety, and contrast administration; ability to recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias; strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; adaptability to rapidly changing clinical priorities. License / Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT[R]) through ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI required within one calendar year of start date; current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion. Minimal travel required.
