Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Teaching License.
• Special Education Endorsement required.
• Experience working with mild/moderate special needs populations.
• Comfortable providing support for behavioral and toileting needs as they arise.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adaptable to onsite, team-oriented environments.
• Willingness to travel for a contract role.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Teach and support a caseload of approximately 25–30 students with mild to moderate needs in a middle/high school setting.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique learning goals.
• Collaborate with students, families, general education teachers, and ancillary professionals to foster academic and social success.
• Monitor progress, complete documentation, and adapt strategies to ensure student growth.
• Provide compassionate assistance, including behavioral support and personal care as needed.
• Contribute to a positive school culture, prioritizing inclusivity and student well-being.
