What You'll Be Doing: Helping out the dentist during different treatment procedures Getting patients ready for treatment and making sure they're comfortable Taking and developing dental x-rays Assisting chairside and doing four-handed dentistry Teaching patients about oral hygiene Skills You Need: Must be X-Ray Certified Experience with Chairside Assisting Knowledge of Expanded Functions Skilled in Four-Handed Dentistry Ability to do Coronal Polishing Skills That Would Be Nice to Have: Experience with Sealants Knowledge of Dental Prophylaxis General Dentistry skills Ability to do Fluoride Treatments Technical Skills You Should Have: Certification in Nitrous Oxide Experience with Sealant Placement Familiarity with Dentrix software Ability to provide Oral Hygiene Instruction Skilled in Chair Side Assistance Salary and Benefits: For this position, the salary ranges from $28,000 to $32,000 annually, depending on experience. We also offer a benefits package that includes health insurance, dental benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education.
