Now Hiring:  Activities Assistant 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing activity programs for residents in Memory Care
• Engage residents in therapeutic and recreational activities based on their interests and abilities
• Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to residents during activities
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team to assess residents' needs and preferences
• Maintain documentation of activity participation and resident progress
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during activities
• Encourage socialization and meaningful interactions among residents
• Assist with setting up and cleaning activity areas
• Attend training and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in Memory Care activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those with memory impairments, is preferred
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in enhancing residents' quality of life
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
