Location: Multiple sites in Minot, ND; Abilene & Longview, TX Start Date: January 3, 2025 (varies by location) End Date/Duration: Contracts up to 7 months Shift Options: Night shifts (11 PM–11 AM, 12-24 hours), Day shifts, Evening shifts (10-12 hours) Hours/Week: Varies; typical 8-12 hour shifts Employment Type: Contract/Locum Licenses/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine; ACLS, ATLS, PALS (see location-specific requirements) Experience: 1-2 years preferred; all levels considered Pay & Benefits: $300–$325/hr based on location and shift. Shift differentials (up to $5/hr), paid travel for Texas locations. Comprehensive health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, free parking, and more What You'll Do: Provide high-quality emergency care in diverse clinical settings Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Manage urgent cases, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac events Document patient care accurately and efficiently Support staff with clinical leadership and training when needed Participate in quality improvement initiatives Utilize hospital EMRs (Cerner, Allscripts, MedHost) for documentation and orders Adhere to safety protocols and standards of care Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment What You Need: MD/DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine Active medical license in the state of practice Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (BLS required for non-ABEM/BEEM candidates) 1-2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments Strong communication and clinical skills About the Assignments: These positions are with reputable hospitals and standalone ERs in North Dakota and Texas, featuring modern facilities and high patient volumes.
