Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, Location: not specified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling, to support patient well-being and recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Skills: CARDIAC, BASIC EKG, NURSING CARE, HEALTH DATA ASSESSMENT, HEALTH TEACHING, REGISTERED NURSE EXPERIENCE, HEALTH COUNSELING, THERAPY AND TREATMENT, MEDICAL FUNCTIONS EXECUTION, PATIENT REFERRAL, TREATMENT PLAN MONITORING, DOCUMENTATION.
• Experience/Skills: 1+ years of experience in telemetry or higher, EKG competency, and rhythm interpretation.
• Additional Information: The role supports a 32-bed unit with an average of 3-5 patients depending on acuity; documentation is performed using Epic; floating based on schedule; contract length 13 weeks plus.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be eligible to work in the designated state and possess all required licensure and certifications.
