This role requires a compassionate, proactive professional eager to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to address students' emotional and social needs in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid professional license as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess students and implement evidence-based interventions
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding student welfare and special education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students in need of intervention
• Develop and implement individualized support plans for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to foster a safe, supportive learning atmosphere
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Serve as a liaison between the school, home, and community resources
• Document student progress and maintain confidential records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student care plans
