Senior Data Analyst

Job Overview Hybrid role (minimum 2 days a week) and candidates must be located near Plano, TX or Minnetonka, MN to be considered. As the Sr Data Analyst, you will work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define key metrics, develop requirements, and design reports and dashboards that support data‑driven decisions. Responsibilities Formulate and define objectives and scope of work through independent research and fact‑finding Maintain an understanding of applicable database, data analysis or data development best practices Apply continuously updated skills and knowledge to use, design or modify moderately complex databases, data analysis requirements and data development projects Work with project teams and hold responsibility for the completion of all phases of a project Provide guidance and training to less‑experienced team members Be competent in all phases of database administration, data analysis and data development lifecycles and maintain awareness of the implications of changes before execution Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of Power BI including data modeling, transformations, and visualizations concepts Advanced knowledge of SQL including writing queries for analysis and validation and creating views, stored procedures and functions Understanding of the software development lifecycle process Lead working sessions with technical and business users, communicate effectively, document requirements and present content appropriately for the audience level Requirements Typically has 5‑10 years of relevant experience Competent to work in all phases of database administration, data analysis and data development lifecycles Proficient in database design and modification Strong communication and facilitation skills Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience Pay Range Position's Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000.
