Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground

Position Overview Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground at VCI Construction requires a minimum of 8 years of construction supervisory experience in underground construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures. Responsibilities include managing large crews and maintaining relationships with staff, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. Responsibilities Walkout projects and submit SOW totals Review and approve all production Keep complete and submit job closeout packages Be aware of all vehicle and equipment needs and condition, as well as employee performance and needs Effectively write reports, internal site audits, and manage employee time sheets Review and interpret drawings and specifications Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 8 years of construction supervisory experience, specifically underground or aerial & underground utility construction Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in aerial & underground utility construction Excellent communication skills at all levels Ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks, projects, and prioritize responsibilities Good understanding of OSHA requirements and Osha 30 certification Excellent leadership skills Proficiency with Word/Google & Excel programs Valid C driver's license Valid U.S. work authorization Must be 18 years of age or older Must be knowledgeable in underground utilities construction and able to read prints and line out crews Work outdoors subject to inclement weather conditions Salary $75,000 - $95,000 Benefits Weekly paychecks Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays Insurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life) 401(k) with company match Stock Purchase Plan Education Reimbursement Legal insurance Discounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and more Other benefits may be available EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr VCI Construction
