Manager Trainee - Operations (Travel Program; Relocation Required)

Overview Vibra Hospital of Southeast Massachusetts is a 90‑bed critical care hospital located in New Bedford, MA. The hospital provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The environment is fast‑paced and friendly, allowing staff to build strong relationships with patients and their families. Responsibilities The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living. The role provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by documenting activities of daily living and ensuring a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Key duties include utilizing basic infection control procedures, monitoring nutrition and fluid intake, and recognizing and responding to emergency situations. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor required. Additional Qualifications / Skills Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant/Nursing Aide in the state of employment preferred. Multi‑Skilled Technician (MST), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification, or current enrollment in a nursing program with at least one clinical rotation preferred. Acute care/LTAC experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
