Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location: Florence, AL Job Summary As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with occupational therapists to help patients regain independence, confidence, and functional abilities. You will assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to a culture of compassionate and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based care Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and sensory processing techniques Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and provide individualized guidance Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth Requirements Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Benefits PTO, Paid Holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Voluntary Benefits, 401k Salary Range: $30-$36 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
